1st I am sorry you guys had an argument hope you make up quickly. It's not going to be easy at first. I am worried about my wife adjusting when she gets here. I would check into your local community college I met lots of Chinese students there. My wife is Chinese I want her to make some new friends here. Not good to be isolated.

I just hv a argument with my husband... He can go to his friend or his brother to talk about it. Me just at the house~ coz i don't hv anyone to go to and talk about it, i can't just go to my parents house and talk about it coz they are so far away. Don't hv friends i can cry about it either. I feel so alone right now... Miss home so much...

Sorry you had an argument with your hubby! In time you will get out, drive and be able to make all kinds of friends. Feeling homesick and missing back home is normal, but you did make the choice to marry a US citizen and move here in the States. Posting here in VJ looks like you are already on your way to make new friends within few hours of where you live, which is wonderful news.

Good luck with your marriage, adjustment to your new country, and making new friends. Given time you will make the most of it. Be patient and when you feel lonely maybe you can Skype your family or friends back home and talk to them? I know it it is not the same, but it is a connection with back home when needed.

Take care and God bless.

are you buddhist? is this close ? -> http://www.pabuddhistvihara.net/About_IBSP.html

Sometimes talking to a monk or nun is useful..

alternatively, there are 2 two-year colleges there in Bedford - see if any chinese student associations are there - that's the quickest way to get 'tied in' to the local scene, Honkee or otherwise.

There's a huge university south of you, in Frederic, MD, as well, has a huge Chinese Student association (about 70 miles that a way) .
