This past April, my fiancee had her medical exam in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The DS-3025 that they returned to us has nothing for the Immunization Record filled out. The information at the top is filled out adequately and its signed and dated by the Panel Physician. There is nothing checked for the Results, including the Vaccination History Incomplete box. Is this normal?

The only thing that is strange is that her visa has a 212(g)(2)(A) blanket waiver. Since this has to do with an incomplete DS-3025 at the time of the interview do we need to complete the I-693 even though the DS-3025 does not say that the vaccination history is incomplete?

In the case that we do not need to submit the I-693, do we still need to submit the DS-3025? How would they know the vaccination history is fine?

We got the same thing, the blank DS-3205, also the blanket waiver on the visa. The way I'm reading it is that we need to bring vaccination history or complete the vaccinations at a civil surgeon and have them put it in a sealed envelope. We do not have any vaccination history so we will be trying to get them to complete it there. I guess. I'm a little unclear as well but I'll let you know what happens and you let us know okay?!

Yeah, Juarez won't give vaccinations for K-1 visas. The blank form is useless, and I am not even sure why they bother giving it out. You need to get your vaccinations transcribed to the I-693. Just bring any vaccination records with you. If they are in Spanish, ask the Dr if they need them translated. You only need to fill out part 1, part 2-vaccination section, and part 5. The CS can let you know what vaccinations you still need, and they can give you those and mark them on the I-693 as well. They should give you a copy, and then seal it up for you to send in with your AOS paperwork.

If you have no records at all, you can get blood titer tests that will show which ones you had already and which you still need.

My fiancee does have a vaccination record which is good. How soon do we need to see the CS to submit the paperwork within the 90 days?

Sometime after you are married, before you send off the AOS paperwork. No solid time frame for it.

The vaccination record is in Spanish. If we go to a CS that knows Spanish there shouldn't be a problem right?

Should be fine if they can read Spanish. Just ask them when you make the appt.

We asked when we made our CS appt. and we were told it was fine, they had someone that can read it. When we were actually there, the Dr mentioned he would have preferred it to be translated. However, the Dr himself did not know Spanish. I think it was one of the nurses.

I believe I have seen other people here on VJ say they went to the CS before they were married. I don't think it should be a problem.
