Hey folks,

Sorry for the bombardment of questions

As expected i had my 2nd RFE arrive. My medical was over 12 months ago so i expected this to come, no big deal... My questions about this are...

a)Can I get the medical booked, completed, and the results sent back to me within a few weeks? USCIS has given me one month to send back this information to them. I really have no idea about time frames with medicals.

b) The I-693 is something I download and take with me to the medical to be filled out by the examinating civil surgeon that he completes and i take back home with me?

Also as part of my RFE they've added something else...

The petitioner must submit the following:

AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT - FORM I-864: In conjunction with the I-864 already on file the petitioner must submit copies from the Internal Revenue Service Tax Statements for 2008, 2009 and 2010.

So they have the I-864 and they just need the tax transcripts from those years to match the I-864 i've already submitted, and not the entire I-864 form.... that's what i understand from that.

Now...with my original submission of that form i sent them i sent tax transcripts from 2006, 2007, 2008 and they sent me an RFE asking for the 2009 form in February.

So i sent them that info, the reviewed it, then my case was sent out to California.

And now they're asking for 2008 which that had originally.... 2009 which i sent them after they sent the RFE, and 2010.

I don't understand that at all.... if they wanted 2009 and 2010, fine... that should have been in the first RFE, but now they're sending me another one asking for two they already have, plus 2010.

I'm just glad this time they actually managed to send the form to my address, rather that throw it in an envelope with paperwork for another person and have it sent out to Florida like they did with the first RFE.

Anyway, sorry for the long post.

Thanks for reading.

a. Yep you should. The only issue will be the TB skin test which you'll do, then go back for the results and if you get a positive TB test then they'll do a chest x-ray so that could slow you down. Call a local CS and see how long it usually takes them

b. Sometimes the CS has it. in my case the CS had a REALLY old version so if I were you I would at least download the form from the internet to make sure they have the current version. Check the I-693 form page for "accepted versions".

c. re IRS transcripts.. they're idiots. just send the transcript copies again even though you've done it already. Sometimes they REALLY need their hand held

Thanks Vanessa&Tony....helpful as always!

Just my 2 cents worth not sure why you sent in 2006 7 an 8 tax return when you did AOS this year it says to send in recent year which is 2010 but because it would have been too early they would need 2009 8 and 7 . Like Vanessa said they are drongos trust me and lose things and yes need their hands held at times. Good luck
