I know the USCIS is interested in that one little detail when reviewing our applications  I know they have their reasons for checking. I know some people believe in love at first sight and others like the wait it out a little. I'm actually the former of the two. Hopefully USCIS doesn't see that as their own red flag *crossing fingers* Anywho, where do guys fall under? Whether you're already married or just received your NOA1, what was your dating time before the marriage proposal?

Just a friendly chat thread :D

I knew of his existence on Nov 3, 2009, he was one of the interviewers for my final panel interview for a job I was applying to, because he was an employee of the company's client. I got accepted so we worked remotely together. We started chatting Jan 2009, and he was sent to the Philippines for a business trip on Feb, 2010. We became a couple Feb 18, and he visited my hometown Feb 26-28, 2010 to meet my parents and family :) I'm not really sure when our OFFICIAL engagement is, because we've always talked about marriage and the future, as soon as things got really serious and emotions became intense :) But in August 2010, we took his mother to our hometown to discuss with my parents his intentions and possible scenarios, and everybody agreed. It was in Dec 2010 that he came back again and informed everyone of the K1 visa.. So I think December is our engagement

I'll be having my interview on June 2, 2011, POE on June 12, 2011, and hopefully a wedding on end of July / early August :)

Love is LOVE. It cannot be defined, nor limited. It varies from one couple to another..
