Thanks alot for your response.. i appreciate it. I forgot to make a copy of my I 130 when I sent it in..that was dumb on my part..but I made sure everything was sent in with it.. I even made my mom look it over for me but we may have missed a line or something who knows they are just so picky..I just cant wait till i get the letter in the mail and fix this problem..

When I tried to call USCIS i couldn't get through to them... i was on hold 25 min.. and then I gave up because I had to go to work.. but I heard people who tried to call to find out what the RFE may be they just said to wait for the letter.. ugh dealing with them is so aggravating!

Dont waste your time on the phone. They wont tell you because if they do people will try to send the info without really understanding what is required & the info will not get connected to the case correctly.

The reason we have to wait for the letter is to send it back with the info so they can make sure it gets forwarded to the correct officer.

Dealing with USCIS can be taxing but they are doing a difficult job & are dealing with 2.5 million cases which are all unique.

Ohh wow that is so not fair just for writing the date wrong you got held back that is so ridiculous..I sure hope I have better luck.. how long did they end up holding you back for?

What did you have to do??? Did they send the forms back to you or did you have to refill everything out??

Yeah I know... Everyone that I told said the same thing....

They are very PICKY. this is for NVC of course.....

I just sent it back ASAP they told me on thursday and I sent it right away Friday so now I am waiting and hopefully everything will be ok.

I just had to send back the I864A not all of the other papers since they were all Ok....

As mentioned before it could be a simple mistake, I have generated 3 times the DS-230 with silly stupid mistakes like address of where you will live, but I failed to read the part it states, list who lives there presently...., i put the address down correctly, but faild to tell them she lives there now. Couldve been an auto RFE, another is forgetting to check a simple yes no box on another question, so it pays to keep copies as I had already sent my wife my ds-230 ready for the next step, unless you can check your copies and see what it might be I would suggest trying not to worry too much, whats happened has happened and at least you will have the chance to rectify it!

I got my RFE today in the mail and all it says that I have to do is send a copy of my birth certificate (Long Version) in and copy of my passport... to them because the copy I sent them wasnt the long version..! Thank god it wasnt anything bigger! :)

But I do have a ? do I send the RFE stuff back to the California Service Center address that is on the bottom of the sheet because there is no other address on the sheet.

Thanks alot everyone for giving me ideas of what it may be but you are all right NOT everyone gets the same RFE...

I was born here in the US and I was the one that submitted the short version.. the long version has your blood type and other stuff on it.. everything for my husband that I sent was right the one I have from him is an international birth certificate that they gave him in Macedonia. I assume every country has different types that they do.
