NOA1 Question

Not an important question but just out of curiousity really. I mailed in my K-1 petition on 5/13 and even though it's only a week I'm yet to receive and notification whether text, or email yet I see my check was already cashed and payment taken. Wouldn't I receive the NOA1 before they get to the check? Just curious...an all new process for me...thanks!

They take the checks out and put them in a safe then send the petition to the VSC or CSC.

The checks get picked up in batches and the petition is put back in the mail to the correct processing center. Then they have to get it out of the mail and open it and assign it to a case worker. Then that case worker will start it when they get to it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
