Hello all,

Quick question about the I-864a. My father is the co-sponsor and so he will be submitting the i-864a. however all of his tax returns have been filed jointly. will this cause problems??

No, Dad just supplies his individual income information supported by W2/1099/etc.

There is a chance that the CO may want to see something from his wife. Not for additional income, but as an acknowledgement of the obligation. This has come up with a few other VJ members. In that case Dad would do an I-864 and his wife would do I-864A in addition to your I-864.
