I know you're so right about that, actually.

whether you're serious or not, I cannot tell.

Think of it this way..

When the Republican National Convention was in Minneapolis in '08, you had to get a 'permit' to protest and you had to be 'assigned' a spot to protest. Even then, you have to be 'scheduled' as well.

Don't get me wrong, I understand their reasoning, but in a country that is supposed to be about free speech, you would think that on a PUBLIC street, you would be able to hold a protest so long as you are doing no harm to anyone physically/impeding someone's way, etc...

That's because speech and protesting are two separate things when done in public. ;)

Do the police sometimes overstep their authority in enforcing local ordinance? Sure, sometimes.

Your rant on the rest is pretty lame though. A bit... delusional.
