I don't have a job at the moment as I am attending a university full time. Though, I am sure my parents are willing to help me with this. Is it possible to file I-134 in their name .. or how should I go about this?

If your parents are willing to be your sponsor, you fill out one I-134 as the petitioner, and one of your parents fills out the other as your co-sponsor.

You and your parent will fill out separate I-134 forms. Yours will indicate that you will be using your parent as a joint sponsor.

yes, it is.

As William33 said, they can be your co-sponsor.

Actually, Lisa and Phil, it's not possible for the petitioner to file an I-134 in the co-sponsors' name. The co-sponsors fill out an I-134 themselves (duly signed and notarized, with the supporting documents and proof of citizenship).

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Only I-134 needs to be notarized.

valera,

Since your parents (one of them or both of them?) will be sponsoring your fiance(e)'s visa, they (or whichever of them) will have to submit the necessary financial documentation including an I-134.

Whether or not you will also be required to submit financial information is an unknown, so best to prepare a financial package that your fiance(e) can have available in case it is asked for.
