Yes, I believe you have to call NVC to see if they received your application yet. Once they receive it, they will assign a case number for it, and mail it to the embassy. Best of luck on the rest of your journey! :dance:

December 2nd, 2011 - AOS Packet sent

December 8th, 2011 - Received electronic NOA1

January 3rd, 2012 - Received notification that case has been transferred to CSC

January 4th, 2012 - Biometrics

February 11th, 2012 - Employment Authorization Card received

February 25th, 2012 - Social Security Card received

August 24th, 2012 - Green Card Received

August, 2014 - I-751 sent

August 2014 (two weeks later) - NOA1 Received

March 2015 - RFE Received

May 2015 - RFE Packet Sent

July 28th - Letter received for interview

August 13th - Interview (GC Pending)

Takes the nvc about a week to put ur petition into there system so give them a call then and they can give you your new case number. Congrats

6/06/2011 Interview Approved

AOS

7/29/2011 AOS and EAD sent by USPS

8/01/2011 NOA date

8/15/2011 Biometrics walk in (appointment for 8/29)

9/26/2011 EAD Approved

10/4/2011 EAD in Hand

10/18/2011 Interview Green Card Approved

10/28/2011 Green Card in hand :)

usually takes how long for NVC to send to the embassy for the case number? i already know the case number from NVC letter so can i make appointment for medical check up or should i wait til embassy email my fiance?
