hi guys i have two year conditional green card my due date to remove conditions is in first week of July now the problem is me and my wife are separated.

she wants divorce i love her so much and want to be with her but she does not love me anymore.we did not even file tax together this year as she wanted to file with her parents not with me.so my questions is will i be able to remove conditions on my own and should i file it now since i am going to file alone i dont need to wait till July and secondly what proofs do i need to show that marriage was real should s i file it myself or hire an attorney.

any suggestion would be highly appreciated.thank you very much.

Sorry about your situation, very sad. I think you have to be divorced to do the waiver. the divorce would have to be final is my understanding.

Someone with more info may be along shortly. I hope you can reconcile..

At first I was sympathetic to your situation. However, you have now been posting this same post since before February. You were given great advice by some senior members who are very knowledgeable. Why do you not take their advice? There are not going to be any new answers by posting over and over again. You ask if you should hire a lawyer. I normally would say no but, my answer to that now is that you should hire one. You have been searching here for answers that you haven't found. Maybe the lawyer can give you the answers you have been looking for.

Good Luck with you situation. If the marriage was entered in good faith, you should be OK.
