DS-230 FORM

My husband had a child when he was still in college with another woman whom he never married. The child is already 11 years old. On the DS230 form there is a question regarding children. Does he need to write her name in the form even though he has not been in contact with her for almost a decade and is being taken care of by her mother? We would like her name to be listed of course since she is his daughter.Thank you for your replies.

Looking at your timeline, I assume that your husband is the beneficiary and only the alien spouse fill up the said form. So therefore, the answer to your question is, yes. Regardless of his zero communication with the kid.
