 Men should just learn to listen to us in the first place.

I'm so nervous mine won't come back perfect. I'm sure it will, but this whole process has made me such a worrier. I don't believe anything will work out until it actually happens!

His ring came in a few days ago and I tried it on his finger to be sure....behind his back! lol I think he thought he'd get to see it by the look on his face :) ONE more sleep!!! Getting married tomorrow!!

We got my fiances ring about a week ago. I am sad because it doesn't fit as well as we hoped. Unfortunately, we can't get it sized as it is Tungsten. We tried on a few sizes and felt an 11 was too small but a 12 was just a bit too big. He needed a half size, which they needed to ship to him. I am wondering if his hand was a bit swollen the day we tried them on. I'm going to see if there is some way to attach something to the inside to make it a bit smaller. Maybe weld something to the inside to make the bottom inner ring a bit flatter...if that makes any sense at all? (It does in my head lol).

I got my ring a few months ago in Canada. I LOVE Spence Diamonds. I am so excited to be able to wear it!!!

I've read it's best to send an actual certified copy so we're sending one with the AOS packet... it was only 11$ to order from the country clerk and we got it two days later, so that made that decision easier.

And that's silly about your SSN, I say go back! I must've gotten a girl with experience with K1s or just generally good at appearing to know what she's doing because she had no questions or confusion and processed me really fast.

Thanks for the info :) I'm going to order a couple copies this weekend so everything's all ready to go next month. We only have one copy right now :P

The piece of paper they gave me said it might take up to 4 weeks, so I'm going to wait just a little longer and if it doesn't arrive soon I'll be heading back...

I wish everyone else good luck with their AOS and upcoming weddings!

I finally got my SSN in the mail! Anyone else think it's weird that it's an unlaminated paper card? (Yeah I know you can't laminate them) I like Canadian SIN cards better.

Can't wait to have insurance again! Yaaaay! Free dental cleanings and glasses! XD

Just got back from the Social Security Office, name change done and official :D . Now to start reading the driver's manual...yes, I have to do the driving written and driving test here in Washington. Kind of irks me since I've been driving for 31 years and British Columbia (the only Canadian province) doesn't have to do it. Oh yeah, neither does South Korea or Germany.... where is the reasoning in that??!! :wow:

Can't wait to get my SSN - I'll be applying after we're married so everything's in my married name. I think I'll feel a little more official once I have that silly number.

I'm doing the same. No sense getting it before marriage, since we have to change our name again. lol!

I can't believe I get married in like 9 sleeps! Eek!
