im good with here lol, Going to file in about two weeks, i got my ssn number and card i went to get my car done today and florida wanted 400 for the ownership and like 1,000 in taxes im still going to look into it before paying but i thought the car was tax free as well..... :bonk:

Have you had your car for more than a year? I thought you only had to pay taxes on it if you've had it for less than a year?? Am I wrong? I am also looking to bring my car to the states with me... Did you have any trouble declaring it when you crossed the boarder?

We don't have a visa yet, but POE is hopefully going to be 9/20, as our civil ceremony is tentatively scheduled for 9/29 .. and we will be filing AOS immediately after.
