filling in CENOMAR application

This may be a stupid question but when my fiance fills out her CENOMAR app what does she check off as the purpose of the application? Is it for Passport/Travel or Other? I'm thinking the latter and she can specify it's for fiance/marriage...thanks in advance!

Most of the fiance/fiancee here put "for traverl purposes". The important fact is that you are free to marry. Congrats in advance, we are gathering final docs before scheduling the interview. Let me know about your progress.

Thanks a million! We haven't received our NOA2 yet, it's expected to be end of July/early August. But because she's an elementary schoolteacher nothing wrong with getting a head start. school resumes early June

i had mine last week and i checked others and i wrote there K1 Visa / Marriage and thats what they wrote on the cenomar paper.

the right one is for visa.. but i think there's no problem if its travel or for marriage.. what important is the information written on the cert.

I used Passport/Travel and didn't have any problem with it during my interview!

Hello! For travel purposes or for k1 visa are fine.

I don't know because I am still waiting for NOA2 but I heard documents such as CENOMAR and NBI should be dated prior to your interview date. For some CO are strict and want one that is latest (even if the validity of those documents are good for 6 months)

I will get mine by time I have my NOA2 (besides, it'll take weeks for it for the case to arrive in USEM. I still have more time to get down to biz when the time comes)
