How can we change consulate even though our case is already in Montreal Canada? We had the case# and we didn't receive the packet 3 yet. We want to change consulate due to backlog in Montreal, and we want our case to be send in the Philippines. Who's we're going to call the NVC or Montreal or both?

Hi there! we are on the same boat except that my case is not with the NVC yet as far as we know.. but then, when we received our approval last MAy 12, it still says Abu Dhabi Consulate and i am back in the Philippines. When i arrived Philippines, my Fiance sent out a letter to Vermont to change my address and consulate, he even went to a field service center for an infopass to change it, yet nothing was done. Now our problem is also changing it since we already have the approval. Hope anyone from the VJ people can help us.

Did you try to contact the NVC if got your case # already? We called the NVC after 7 days we received our NOA2 and they that said our case has left already to Montreal.

Sorry you cant call Montreal. They have no phone line. You have to email them. Then you have to email the USEM in the phils that you want to switch to and tell them Montreal has your case and you want to switch.
