HI Guys;

We had our Interview for IR 1 at Montreal on May 12th. Interview went very the lady asked us few questions and approved us and gave us Welcome Letter and said we should get our passport soon; it’s been exactly one week today and no word from DHL.

Has anyone who had their Interview in Montreal around same time frame got their passport back?

We are getting tensed, any feedback from VJer to demystify this situation would be much appreciated

Thanks

Getting the passport back from Montreal can take as little as 3 days, but it can also take 2 weeks or longer. I'd say only start worrying once it's been 2 weeks. Have you called DOS yet to ask if your visa has been printed yet? And have you taken the 7-digit reference ID on the CSC website and checked on DHL.ca to see if anything appears?

Thanks for your feedback, I have one more question for you, initially when you signed up for DHL pick up did you receive any kind of confirmation email that you have been properly registered with DHL or courier service something like that. ( we didn't get any)

Also do you know if they can put in AP or AR even after approving you and giving you welcome letter ?

I have attached a screen shot of my DHL registration, can you tell me if I have properly registered.

Again thanks million for all your help

Nope, there's no confirmation email when you sign up initially. If you can see the DHL location when you sign in, then you're fine. The screenshot you sent looks exactly like what my page looked like.

It's uncommon for people to be put in AP/AR in Canada, but I do believe it can happen even after you've been approved, but I'm not 100% sure.

Have you tried calling DOS like I suggested? They'll know if your visa has been printed yet. They should also know if you've been put in AP/AR if you're worried about that.

And did you try putting your 7-digit reference ID from the CSC site on DHL.ca? Does anything come up?
