i cant remember which window i was interviewed but its sure is near the window where i filled my delivery address which i think is 2go. also im not sure if each window is designated to a certain consul, im sure they rotate and each of them does the interview base on your file so theres no standard interview procedure. although as much as i can remember, hes an old guy, almost look like a filipino, wearing glass and kind off serious facial look

I got 211(g) for a police clearance and at the same time told to stay for another interview on that day and no they didnt keep my passport. We waited but I was told that the interviewer was not available on that day and they told me that they will call me and tell me what day to come back at the USEM on window 70. Its been 2 weeks already and I have called the embassy twice and they say I should wait for their call for my interview date. Im still waiting for my police clearance up to this day. Big mistake on my part for not securing this police clearance before the interview. I have no idea why I have to go for another interview. I answered all the question asked by the Filipino and the American Consul.

Questions asked at the preliminary interview by the Filipino consul:

1. What's your name?

2. Who is your petitioner?

3. How old are you? your petitioner?

4. Where and when did you first met?

5. When was his first visit?

6. How long?

7. Next visit?

8. When did you last saw him?

9. What does he do for work?

10. What do you do for work?

11. Who support you financially?

12. How old is your son?

13. Where is his father?

14. Is his father a Moslem?

Questions asked by the American consul:

1. who is your fiance?

2. how and when did you met?

3 how old are you?

4 how old is he? What does John do for work?

5. when did he first visit you in person?

6. how many times has he visited you?

7. how long was his visit? why?

8. Does he visit somebody in China before he visit you in the Philippines. I said no. I think its an airline thing. They have layover there before his flight here in the Phils.

9. Has he been married before?

10. Who was his first wife? second wife?

11. What went wrong with his first marriage?

12. What went wrong with his second marriage?

13. What do you do for work?

14. Who supports you financially?

15. Have you been married?

16. Where is the father of your son?

17. Where did you met him?

18. How old is your son?

19. When was John's last visit?

20. and the one before that?

21. Who is J____ K____? I said she is John's ex-wife.

22. Do you swear to marry John within 90 days when you get to the United States?

The preliminary interview for my second interview I was asked these questions by a Filipino consul.

1. Do you live in Mindanao?

2. Where do you live?

3. Who is your fiance?

4. What does he do for work?

5. Who lives with him in his house?

6. Has he been married before?

7. Who is his first wife?

8. Is she married now? What's her name now? Where does she live now?

9. who is his second wife? Where is she now? Has she remarried. I said no and she is using the name J____ K____ now. Interviewer said so she had an alias.

10. When and where did you first meet your fiance?

11. When did he visited you?

10. What do you do for work?

11. Who supports you financially?

12. Where is the father of you son?

13. Is he a Moslem?

14. Are you sure you dont have a relative in the US?

I don't know what didn't sit well with them.

If I may ask, regarding the missing police clearance, which country did you work in? Or was it the NBI clearance you did not submit?

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

Dec 16, 2013: Removal of conditions on green card

Apr 28, 2015: Became a U.S. Citizen

I hope it's just the Police Clearance that's causing the delay...

Best of luck to you on your next interview...

Hi VJ! I emailed USEM for our case status update on our K1&K2 visa. This is the reply I got:

"Because of insufficient information to process the case to completion, the case was referred for further review.

Consular officers need to be reasonably satisfied that all identity and relationship issues have been addressed before a final determination is made regarding visa issuance.

As soon as the review is completed, we will notify you."

How long does a review take? Are they in doubt if we have a genuine relationship? Can somebody share their experienced on this?

That wording sounds more like they have question about a family connection- maybe whether your K2 child is indeed yours.
