Today I e-mailed packet #3 to the Embassy in Bogota as their instructions clearly state I can do. A few hours later they call my fiance and tell her you cannot e-mail packet # 3 and to have me send the orginal hard copies to the Embassy. I call the Embassy and ask what's up with the request has something changed? They tell me you can send them using e-mail. So then I ask then why did you call my fiance and tell her otherwise? They then say "someone called your fiance and said that?" Yes I said, Ok they said then I guess send the hard copy. :bonk:

If you don't get an ulcer over this process nothing will cause it :wow:

Next I tell them you have my application form the NVC and they say no only electronic information. I say the NVC told me they shipped to you on the 13th and you got it on the 16th. We did they say. We don't have it yet. I say I have the shippment Way Bill that say's you have it. You do they say. well it must be close don't worry I think we will get it soon. At that point I waved the white flag and thanked her for her time. :crying:

That's a good one!!! We faxed our interview packet docs to the Embassy, I have not had this experience yet and I hope I don't, so far we are doing well in the process, at this point we are just getting documentation together and waiting for the interview date

I hope yours gets better one thing I can tell you was that when they received the packet from the NVC for our case, it took a few more days before they said they received the packet even though we knew they had received it days before.

Thanks for the support.... The Embassy is so large...it must be a days before it get's from one part of the complex to the other. I sent the hard copy as they asked. So many people run through that place every day it does not suprize me that mistakes happen.
