NVC: Awaiting appointment date

My wife`s case was completed at NVC on the 22nd of April but still no interview date.

I called NVC today and was told that they are scheduling appointments during the second week of the month. The second week is over and they were not able to schedule the interview date for June and we have to wait another month when they schedule interviews for July.

It is really frustrating.

Does anyone know what is approximate appointment waiting time for Moscow, Russia? Is it possible that they will not schedule it in the next month? Is there anything I can/should do in this situation?

It is follow-to-join procedure. EB2 category. Consulate in Moscow, Russia.

same thing with me but my case was recently completed and hopeing for a schedule date in july... no date in june...

i guess we are at the mercy of NVC to schedule our appointments...

Hi, I am not sure what EB 2 visa; my situation is K-1 visa : NOA2 was 04/19; NVC left May 4 - 15 days ; Embassy received May 11 or 12; and interview scheduled for July 12. I hope this helps to get an approximate date . Good luck

It usually takes about a month between NVC left and appointment being scheduled. This is normal

I am a little bit confused here. Probably K-1 processing is different from my situation. As far as I know NVC is supposed to schedule interview date for my wife. Was it different in your case? Did embassy schedule the appointment?

Thats correct, the US Embassys schedule the interview dates for K1(finace) visas. Meanwhile, we(IR-1/CR-1)have to wait for each Embassy to send their availability to the NVC, and hope we get scheduled for any of the open dates.

Look at it on the bright side, your not waiting on the Cairo Embassy. There are still working on the January backlog because of the Revolution. They're not even saying when they will started to schedule dates for us with NVC completed cases.

Same Boat 2 cases approved on MAY 9 No interview for June More every day I see K1 approve after me getting appoitments and Interviews IM calling This NVC limbo for CR1 CR2 Visa request

Want to post my case update in case if the information will be useful to someone.

I received an e-mail from NVC yesterday that my wife`s interview was scheduled for July 11!
