I need advice please.

I have a 16 and 14 year old nephew in Tanzania who are Orphan their mother died 8 years ago and their father is on his death bed, unfortunately we do not have immediate member of the family to take care of them over there. The Tanzania law is complex so adoption is out of the question. I am now wondering what the next step to do, will I be able to bring them to the USA via the I-600, petition to Classify Orphan as an Immediate Relative?

Or what should I do.

Thanks in advance

To be able to file based on a pending US adoption you must be able to present proof of a cleared adoption home study by you state. Those take a while to complete. If the younger boy is close to 15 he may age out and both may become unadoptable. ( the upper limit is 16 unless a younger sibling is involved and then it is 18 ) You will also need to process proof of the suviving parents inablility to care for the children and the death of the other parent

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
