Ok so i have a caution on my police certificate for a minor shoplifting offense over 3 year ago. It never went to court and i was never charged or anything like that. I know shoplifting is a cimt so on question 40 where it asks if you're:

an alien convicted of or who admits having committed a cimt

do i tick yes or no? cos i'm not sure if it comes under some petty offense act or something.

Then later on, on Q41 it asks if you have ever been charged, convicted or arrested. Do i need to tick yes to that as well?

arghh im so confused.
