Yes it is strange. After be stuck at one date for almost the entire fiscal year I pray it goes back to where it was pre retrogression. Let's hang in there. The wait will be over soon

I called the embassy yesterday and i asked expecting some forward movment on september ?

and officer said it, lets see we know anything . but in every new fiscal year always moves forward and usually go back before retrogression

hopefully on october 2011 we see dates june2005.

im in the same situation man ! mine is 29sep2004 my interview was on 4th november 2010. we get the visas end of this year i think you maybe take before me on october its possible . but i guess i get on november or december its boring man

I submitted my documents in November perhaps thats why we had our interview so early? Also I'm already inside the US. A lot of us on this forum had our interviews:

That is strange that you got the interview letter this year, during the retrogression. I started receiving notification from NVC in the middle of last year. unfortunately RFEs set me back so my case was completed February of this year

It was my understanding that people who submitted their applications before the retrogression got interviews... I might be wrong though..
