Hello I'm new here and I'm a F2b also my PD date is 24JAN2007 and it has a post activity status. Until now no update on it. My parents filed the petition during their immigrant status now both of them are US Citizens. is there a difference regarding citizenship? Is this will make the process of petition faster or just the same. Do they need to can NVC for the change of their status or not. Hoping for all your responses and thanks in advance. Happy new year to all.

You can send an opt out letter to nvc requesting for f2b retention since f2b pd is much faster and updated in our country. regards
