Hello I'm new here and I'm a F2b also my PD date is 24JAN2007 and it has a post activity status. Until now no update on it. My parents filed the petition during their immigrant status now both of them are US Citizens. is there a difference regarding citizenship? Is this will make the process of petition faster or just the same. Do they need to can NVC for the change of their status or not. Hoping for all your responses and thanks in advance. if ur petitioner is us citizen now u can upgrade ur petition in to f2a...ur petitioner needs to inform to Nvc about his her new status.....

How? Is that possible? F2a is for unmarried children under 21 years of age. I need to know all of it so I could explain to my parents how and what to do it. They will just call and inform NVC about their citizenship. Are there papers to sign for the upgrade of f2b to F2A? Thanks for the response.

I did my interview on november 2010... but in 2010 my father's green card not valid... than he got the valid green card again but as you know the retrogression has come... im waiting for my pd being current... and god bless you.. insallah soon everbody gets green cards and be happy in this world.. thank you.
