Hi! I am new to visajourney and have a few questions for those of you who have filed DCF. We sent our application in yesterday and it arrived today Thank God, but I'm hoping they dont give me a hard time about domicile.

I sent a letter explaining domicile for No.15 on the I-864 stating how I've kept up with my US bank account, and giving various proofs of intention to return like Emails regarding apartment searches, emails regarding inquiry into colleges from last year, copies of my ACT exam scores and reciept which I took in Ankara last October, and things like this. In the emails it clearly states that we are looking to come to the USA in August-September of this year, even the emails from colleges show my interest in registering for college this comming fall. Do you think this will be enough? I gave a signed statement that I promise to return to the USA no later than the date of my husbands US entry if his application is aproved.

Also, My friend is our joint-sponsor, and she's in the middle of a move, we sent in the application before her planned move date, but we're worried that her move could effect the paperwork since she would't be able to send in another I-864 anytime soon. The Embassy emailed us about an inquiry I had about the time it takes to get an appointment date (the waiting period) and they said as of right now they are doing interviews for June, but depending on when they recieve our application it could be in July. (We sent application same day, yesterday and they got it today) Do you think we should just wait for the aproval and have her report her address afterwards? It would be within 30 days. She will also be changing jobs in about a month, when is she suppose to report that? She will be earning the same pay, just a different job, Is there a certain time limit she has to report a new job and a move? For example 10 days from the start day?

It's been a very interesting process and we're hoping that the Embassy gives us our interview date before she makes her changes.

If anyone can give any advice or share their personal experience I would be most grateful!
