Just got the call 5 minutes ago, Ruby just walked out of the Embassy in Manila and we are approved! She will be here with me in the states in 2 weeks! Guess I just wanted to say thanks to all the fine friends we made here and wish you the best of luck on your journey. Our road was not paved in gold, it was a long long process. 8 1/2 months for the NOA2, we were held up in background processing. 3 trips to Manila to complete the physical. All of you that are struggling, keep the faith, your prayers too will be answered.

Congratulations but don't book a ticket yet. Wait for her visa to arrive. It'll take 7-10 days based on what I heard, or much earlier if she's just around Metro Manila. :dance:

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

**No more USCIS for two years**
