ok this case is a bit complicated, so here goes we received our NOA2 for fiancée petition in April 2011, the case was originally sent to Buenos Aires Argentina as my fiancée was living there due to his studies. on January 2011 he had to move back to Colombia due to some foreseen circumstances, i tried to make the change of embassy in the NVC but it was too late and i did not get to do the change in time before it left to Buenos Aires. so my question is what can i do now? im so desperate to know where my case is!

Have you called the US Embassy in Buenos Aires to find out if they have your fiancé's case with them? If they do, try also contacting the US Embassy in Bogotá to see what you need to do to have his case transferred to Colombia. Contacting them via email is the fastest way for them to reply.

I found this on the US Embassy in Hong Kong site regarding case transfers: http://hongkong.usconsulate.gov/iv_case_transfer.html, so maybe they can do the same for you.

Also, if you need further info on how the process works in Colombia or have any questions please go to the Colombia Club thread where you can find many of the answers or simply just ask for help.
