Hey everyone, just wanted to ask a quick question. I am filling out the I-485 for my wife who came on the K1 visa, for the question "current USCIS status" what should I write down, does it matter if I am filing this way after her visa has expired?

thanks

You can write "K1" for her status.

It doesn't matter if you file after the I-94 expires. Many K1's do this. It's not a problem.

Red number on visa and yes K1 for last status.

There's an AOS guide in my signature that should help you and also example forms up the top.
