How do you know you have passed your medical exam?

I had my medical in Toronto yesterday and typical me, I'm all worried probably about nothing.

I had some past psychiatric issues including hospitilization but since being put on a particular medication 6 years ago, I have been more than stable with no issues since. I had my GP write a letter explaining this (though, in true form to my doctor, wasn't as detailed as I would have liked it to be). Other than that, I have no other health issues. The examining doctor finished the interview by saying, "You shouldn't have any problems". I'm assuming that means I passed?

My interview is July 12 and of course I will be stressed until then since the interviewing officer is the one that actually makes the decision, not the doctor.

Did they tell you when to pick up your medical?

if you go pick it up and they hand it over then you passed the medical.

If they call you and say you need further processing for your medical then you did not yet pass it.

Generally, if there is a problem they will tell you so you have a chance to address the issue if it is something that needs to be addressed. If the Doctor told you everything was fine, then everything is fine. Good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

To my knowledge they will call you if there is a problem and if you pick up the package than you passed :)

Thanks! I got the email today that it is ready to be picked up. Today would be the 2 day turnaround.

Whew!

Only one more hurdle (hopefully) and then I can be on my way.
