Not sure if its a fact or not but I am seeing more and more approvals this month. My girl was also saying that on her forum in Russia, people are posting more and more approvals. I am really hoping thats that case.

According to http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx there's an increase at Vermont especially but with those petitions(both I-130 and I-129F) it goes up and down.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

It really seems this way. 1) The trend charts on uscis.gov seem to indicate that approvals go way up in the summer and early fall and down over the holidays. 2) Igor's list is showing shorter times. 3) Just judging from this forum, it seems that things are picking up. I've been following it for a couple of months, and when I started, it seemed like at least two or three of the most recent posts were usually people freaking out because it had been 6-7 months since their NOA1s. Not so common anymore.

As a "Vermonter", I approve of these findings!

We sent ours in at the end of January so here's hoping things continue the way they're going! But let's not forget those who still don't have theirs after passing 5-6 months... (moment of silence) and hope they get theirs soon too!

I completely agree! We also filed in late January and are hoping for the best. I feel terribly for the people who have waited soooo long. :(

Adding to CMed's post, it's tough to see those waiting for months on end with no NOA2. I hope they get their approvals soon. Also, there's probably enough people not updating timelines after the approval comes, leading to anomalous results.

Here's hoping they all get approved in good time.

I think Vermont has more people working on the I129's. I am not sure how long this will continue. There is a very informational post in the USCIS forum where a member actually recorded a meeting with the Director of Vermont. Petitions are still taking around 5 months on average. Good luck to a speedy process
