Hi all,

We received our NOA2 and looking forward to flying through NVC as much as we can thanks to everyone's advice.

Wondering if anybody has any advice on the following, my husband currently lives/works in Sweden so I-130 was based on his information in Sweden, but he may need to move back to UK for work while NVC is processing the case, but we don't have date yet. Given that even the NVC ID is based on the consulate where application will be sent, does anybody know what we need to do once my husband moves countries? Will application need to be changed to UK consulate or will interview still take place in Sweden? any similar experiences?

Thanks in advance

We have a similar, but not the same situation. My wife is Mexican and primarily lives in Costa Rica, but also maintains a legal residence in Mexico City. I asked NVC several months ago what to do on the I-130 where they ask which consulate do we want to use, and could we change it to CDJ if she was going to be in Mexico as the interview scheduling approached. They said the obvious--use Costa Rica since that is where she most of the time, but yes, they could schedule CDJ if we notified them of the change once they had our documents. It turns out that she will in fact be in Costa Rica at the time of the interview in a couple of months, so we will not have "tested" the system so to speak, but at least they were encouraging when I spoke to them that we could schedule whichever was more convenient.

Thanks for the reply. I hope it is simple and it won't keep us apart longer than necessary :)
