Hi guys,

I checked my case status on USCIS.gov this morning, and this is what my latest case status on the website:

" On May 13, 2011, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER"

I wonder what does this mean? Am I having an interview in CA?

Please any advise?

Thanks

XH

Not to worry, the CSC doesn't return many AOS petitions back for an interview.

USUALLY, when sent off to a service center, is no interview for the Adjustment of Status casefile.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Mine was transferred to CSC last week and yesterday to a USCIS office. Does that mean that I will have an interview?

you're probably incorrectly reading the notice. You get one notice saying the file was sent to CSC and another saying it's been received. Given that you said there was a weeks difference between the notices I'm pretty confident it's just the "Received" notice and not that it was sent to your local office.

If you get an interview transfer they will specify an office. For instance for me it would be "this file hs been transferred to the DES MOINES, IOWA office" and that's when I'm likely to get an interview.

We are one of the rare cases that was transferred to CSC and then back to our local office for an interview. I have no clue why either. No RFEs or red flags that I am aware of. Our interview is tomorrow morning.

not to worry but our's was transferred to CSC and month after month went by with nothing happening. And then this april we got a RFE wanting us to send them pictures of us holding a news paper and for us to write a letter on how we meet each other from both of us and some more things so we sent it off and today we got the good news . But before the RFE we got a notice that the case was transferred again but it never went anywhere else. We sent our adjustment of status off to them last may and so ours took a year . Lol crazy on how long it takes to get it. The only thing I can say is just do everything they ask for and just wait it out .post-50986-0-05546900-1305691210_thumb.jpg see what you can do while you wait lol

We have to wait but our love for each other just gets that much stronger.

MORAN&ELAM always and forever inlove

Hm I'm not sure. I got an email notification and a notice (dated 5/9) in the mail on 5/14 saying that my case was transfered to CSC. Then on 5/16 I got another email saying that my case was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. So does that 2nd email refer to CSC receiving my case?

Yep. Just the received notice. Don't worry everyone gets a bit confused by that notice because they worded it badly.
