This process keeps draggggggggging out for us. First they tell us our K3 is still alive since it was approved first and already on its way to the U.S. Embassy in Manila. Then after about a week to 10 days they finally approved our I-130 and Administratively closed our K3. Just when we were so close getting things complete with our K3 we get hit with this bombshell. Now its almost like starting over again because we have to wait for "NVC" to Review and Finish our paperwork and then schedule our interview appt. When I had called the Embassy in Manila they originally told me they were able to schedule interviews within a week of my call if we already had our letter Re. K3. Are we really gonna have to wait a full 20 business days to get our case approved and then our Medical date and Interview date given? Enough is enough already!!!

I would pay attention to date, dates, and who said what, and when.

Whilst NVC may push through the Visa processing and paperwork intake, it's ultimately up to the Embassy IV unit to maintain any open K-3 visa casefile.

Once upon a time, it was quite possible to have 2 casefiles in play at the same time, albeit in different stages, and that was OK.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
