First of all i have to say this site is very good but i been reading up on what the NVC job really is.. My real question is when they say after getting your case number from the nvc it is send to an u s embassy 2wks after do they really send it seeing that all the info they ask us to send ex ds-3230 aos and ds230 are sent to the nvc, could some clear this up for me please on how it really works thanks...

Once USICS approves ur petition.... the u get ur NOA2...

after that ur file is sent to NVC...

once ur file is at NVC... u fill out Choice of Agent Form - DS-3032...

u have to pay ur AOS & DS-230 Fees...

Send in ur AOS form

and also u send ur Actual Visa Application - DS-230..

the whole process takes about 4-6 weeks...
