Yes, NOA1 extend your GC for one more year. After you do your BIO, you can leave and come back for the interview if any.

We got the Receipt Notice which read that my husband could travel and be employed for one year. I'm pretty sure you don't need a passport stamp since you already have the Receipt Notice which reads that you can travel.

yes. i suggest you get your bio done first. if they schedule you for an interview, you may need to cut the trip short.

we are traveling at the end of the month. i wanted to get a stamp for insurance. we made an infopass appt. to get one. the local office didn't want to stamp my wifes pp coz we had everything we needed already. they told us to bring these things & we'd be fine:

old passport w/ visa & other papers attached

new passport (name change)

expired gc

extension letter

a 'certified' copy of our marriage licence.

It looks like NOA1 should do it if the local office didn't want to stamp the pp.
