hellooo everyone what is this now

my sister had her interview with her family in jan 2011, they gave her 221g but kept thier passports asked for more doument which we sent them now when they have everything they still wont issue visa . every time i call DOS or islamabad embassy they say her priorety date is not current. you have to wait one more year whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat . why they interview and all that stuff a year befor if there was no visa available. what should i do freinds i am think less . i filed her petition in feb 2001. is there anyone who can please help me out here. thank you soo much

Many of the family preference visa categories retrogressed in February. This means that the cutoff dates moved backward. Her priority date was probably current when she interviewed, but by the time you responded to the 221(g) the cutoff dates had changed, and her priority date was no longer current.

Nothing you can do except wait and watch the visa bulletin every month.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

but i think we have reponed in the time frame they got all the paperwork within two month cuz we also have been calling them and they kept saying we just waiting for the paper work and also AP. oooooooh ok by the time her date becomes current what about the medical and other papers do we have to do it all over agin :help:

It doesn't matter when you submitted the paperwork. It matters when they approve the visa. There must be a visa number available when they approve the visa. There's no visa number available for her right now, so they can't issue the visa.

She won't have to submit a new visa application or supporting documents, but she may have to get the medical again. It depends on how long before her priority date is current again.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
