i want to thank everyone for their help so now my most important question, for a k1 visa how much time should i make for my fiancee interview process?? i am aware that at cd juarez she needs to make an appointment for her fingerprints and photo, one appointment for her medical, and finally one for the main interview, has anyone been through this? how far apart should we schedule each one, if anyone has any experience please describe in detail? we have everything ready ds260 confirmation, 2 ds156, 1 ds156k, ds157 just in case, 2 i134s for my father and i, proof of ongoing relationship, etc etc. we just have to make the call to schedule her interviews.

The interview can be a whole day, the medical will be an hour or so and you have to go back later to pick up results and the fingerprint appointment will be about 10 minutes. You should try to give yourself one day for each thing but it is possible to do the medical AND fingerprints the same day and the interview the next day.

Go to this link, there are a lot of reviews about the whole experience in CDJ: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Mexico

Also the "ciudad juarez discussion forum" has a lot of hotel reviews. We stayed at hotel La Quinta. You can book online, they have a free shuttle to the consulate and medical offices and a lot of other nice services. Otherwise the taxis are safe and the hotels will call them for you. They are more expensive than other parts or Mexico and start at $50 pesos.
