hello I was just wondering for those who have already had your biometrics appointment how did it go. I have mine in 2 days and don't know what to expect will I be questioned? how long will it take? is there something I should know before going into the appointment.thank you

It's so easy you can (almost) do it in your sleep!

Fill out a 1-page form, have fingerprints taken, photos taken and signature taken. My wife was out in less than 10 minutes but that can depend on how many people are there at the same time.

The only thing I can think to tell you is, if your name is going to be different that what your current ID says, bring along the supporting docs for the name change (marriage cert, etc.) My wife filed for AOS in her married name but only has her passport in her maiden name for ID so they looked at our marriage certificate to reconcile the name on the biometrics appointment letter to the name on the passport.

N-400

Feb. 12, 2016 - Sent N-400 to USCIS (3-year rule)

Feb. 19, 2016 - NOA1

Mar. 14, 2016 - Biometrics

June 2, 2016 - Interview - Recommended for Approval
