Well the office girls were mad at me when I showed them the technical instructions for giving immigration physicals. I think that they just signed it to get rid of me. I do not think that they learned anything at all.

Would I report them to CDC or USCIS? Perhaps both?

CDC writes the technical guidelines for the medical examination. USCIS grants and revokes Civil Surgeon status. This is covered in AFM section 83.4. Read paragraphs c.1 and c.2.

Send a sworn affidavit to the service center that's handling your adjustment of status application describing the alleged misconduct. As the AFM states, the law doesn't have specific provisions for revoking a Civil Surgeon's status, but it doesn't preclude revocation either. I would presume that if USCIS gets enough complaints about a particular civil surgeon then they will begin the process described in section 83.4.c.2.

Oh hi, I hope that somebody is still keeping this post active!!! My short story: in the window of the Embassy in Colombia I was informed about my latent TB!!! (so nice that the stupid people from the laboratory did not tell me anything before, thank you so much a....h...!!!). Anyway, I've got the visa and got married. But because I was afraid of having troubles with the AOS I started a treatment in the Health Department against latent TB. They took me the quantiferon test, it was positive. They took me another radiography and still shows the path that they saw in Colombia. Anyway, based on the tests and general examinations they concluded that my infection is LATENT NOT ACTIVE.

I've been under treatment with INH and Vitamin B6 for a while and some weeks ago I started my AOS. But the CS told me he wanted a new chest x-ray to see if the medication was working well on me, due to the path in the other one. I did it and today they just called me telling me that pass for the office to get an order for a chest scan because this new radiography is not clear... I tell to the woman (his assistant) that I want to talk with the CS FIRST and that he explaines me what's going on... My God!! I've already payed them US $150,oo to get my I-693 and I still have NOTHING and now, just because I want to see the CS to receive a better explanation about my x-ray they're gonna charge me another US $70,oo.

What can I do???? I can not believe that they do this, I'm going every single month to the Health Department to control with a TB nurse and I'm taking "religiously" the medication every single day!! And I'm FINE!!! Not even a flu...nothing. So what's going on??? I think I am following the law...I'm under treatment althought I am not sick (the infection is latent) and these people want more tests and more money!!! What can I do??? Somebody help me please!!!

Thank you so much.

Am I just confused, why are you AOSing? I thought CR-1 receive greencard on arrival, or are you still in China?

CR1 gets a conditional 2 yr visa if you have been married less than 2 yrs when you file so we are CR1 but filed for AOS to get the 10 yr GC and then he can apply for citizenship.

You applied for AOS? Or for ROC? Spouses of USCs are eligible for naturalization after 3 years as a LPR regardless of if they initially came on a CR-1 or IR-1. I've never heard of AOS from a CR-1 so I'm curious to hear how it works.

Yeah, I am thinking they meant ROC and not AOS. Their timeline shows filing for ROC last month.
