You did. Because you are waiting for facts you will not get, so you will probably stick with what you want to believe to be true. You have already suggested you find it more likely the teacher is at fault, without any proof to support such a conclusion.

Like I said earlier its not a far stretch to think that this teacher was worried about offending a Muslim student. It is a far stretch to think I might be a alien.

You also said the story wouldn't have been published if there weren't some truth to it. You also said that it's not a stretch to believe that the teacher is at fault for pandering to a muslim student (the student was not muslim, in point of fact).

It's worth repeating that the student was not muslim. Simpson assumed that.

Lots of drama apparently. I kind of am reminded of the kid that got caught eating his own boogers, with all the required denials. All while the kid was supposed to be using the same hand to be taking notes that the teacher was putting up on the board.

The fact that whatever the drawing was, it was 'off task' behavior doesn't seem to strike you as odd?

Spare me the "world is picking on Muslims" attitude. I used it as a example because we did see this after 9/11 and the beginning of the Iraq war.
