Hi all,

My fiance had his K1 visa interview at the London embassy on April 28th. He needed his passport to fly back to Scotland after the interview (ryanair doesn't accept drivers id's and wasn't informed until after the tickets had been bought :blush: ) and so the officer said he had been approved but gave him a section 221g blue form to send his passport back for the visa to be stamped in. He sent his visa on the 4th of May...I am just wondering if anyone knows how long it should take before he receives his passport back....ready to be done with this process and get back to America and be married!!

hmmmmmm, i believe it is the time it takes to get to the Embassy, then the processing time 3-5 days then the time it takes to get back, don't take this as 100% true but that is what i would assume it to be

You can always call the embassy and ask for the e-mail code of the week and inquire--usually they're pretty quick about processing due to this kind of stuff (my then fiance now husband forgot to pay for the visa at the counter!)...

Naturalization

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview
