Hey guys need some help. My dad is a LPR and he filed us I824 and his priority date for EB3 is octomber 2004. we received a letter last week from USCIS saying that our case is approved and that they have informed the local consular office that our status has been changed to a LPR. my question is since our priority date is current visas must be available. Why did the USCIS didnt inform the NVC? We have our i130 also at nvc and it is completed but waiting till the f2a priority date becomes current? what can i expect next will the local embassy contact me or what should i do? :ot2:
