DS-230 question

I have One question on DS-230. 2nd question on DS-230 form is this other name used

My spouse has passport with her last named chaned to match my last name. Do I need to give her Pre Marriage Name on that column or what

Example.

Pre Marriage her name : ABC Singh

After Marriage Her name is now : ABC Kapoor?

2nd question is related to same matter:

From Her birth till she got married she stayed at her parents house (Lets say Town-A) and after marriage she is staying at my home town(Lets say Town-B) with my family. So Local Police certificate I am going to get

From Town - B will be on her new last name : ABC Kappor

How about from town - A. Should I am getting on her pre-marriage name (ABC Singh) or Post marriage Name (ABC Kapoor)?

First question, that's right

For the 2nd question, I'm not sure how it goes in India. When I got mine (it covers the whole country record), I used my married name to obtain the clearance.

on Question 2 am i right to assume it is in the same country the two towns, if so the police certificate application asks for previous addresses but gives the report for the whole country unless i am mistaken
