Sarah (my fiancee) had her interview today at Montreal scheduled for 1:45PM. She arrived early, like at 730AM and when the consulate opened at 8:00, they turned her away and asked her to come later, closer to her interview time. She went back at 1:00PM, and they then took her in.

All in all, it took her about an hour in there...the actual interview was only 5 minutes and she got approved!

They asked about how we met, how our relationship has been going, and if she's excited about going to the US and getting married. They did not ask to see any proof of relationship documentation at all. We were prepared with all duplicate copies of all the forms/paperwork, emails, photos, trip itineraries, phone logs, etc. just in case, but didn't have to present any thing.

Good luck on your interview tomorrow!! Don't stress it too much.

Hm, I guess they're cracking down on interview times now that they're giving out afternoon appointments. I had no problem getting in with an afternoon appointment but I suppose I got lucky. Good to know for upcoming interviewees. :)

Make copies of any originals while you are making the birth certificate copy. They won't make copies for you. Make 2 copies of your bio page of your passport. One for them and one for you to keep so you have the info for signing into the CSC site to check on your visa status.

They never asked for a copy of my bio page. I had made 2 copies anyway just in case. I sent one in with my original petition, maybe that is why? I don't know what was required for the original one as we had a lawyer to do it for us (this was before I discovered VJ! Will be finishing the rest of the process on our own!)
