Hello everyone I have my biometric appointment next Wednesday and am a little nervous, does anyone have any type of input...what should I expect? will they question me? how long might it take? I would really appreciate any advice on this.

I suspect that they will take your photograph, scan your finger prints and ask you to provide a sample of your signature for your new green card.

Then they will send you on your way.

You should expect to have your fingerprints and photo taken (ears should not be covered by your hair). If you are a woman, try to doll yourself up a bit. In my case, the photo that was taken on my Bio, was used on my EAD and GC so make sure that you look presentable. I'm not sure if that applies to everyone. In my appointment, there was a woman who was wearing make-up like there's no tomorrow. :girlwerewolf2xn: She looked a lil bit scary, but hey who am I to judge. I don't think you would be questioned. Just make sure though that you have your Bio Appointment Letter with you and an ID. The duration will depend on how crowded the office is. On a fair number of people, it shouldn't take more than 25 mins. Theres nothing to be nervous about!

Here is my experience...

Came in the office, handed my appointment letter and ID (expired passport, yes its fine) to the guard. He then handed both back to me and gave me a form to fill up. I submitted the filled up form back to him, then he directed me to fall in line where a lady stamped my appointment letter and gave me a number. She then directed me to a waiting to room to get my actual Biometrics taken. When my number was called, my photo was taken first and next were my fingerprints on all fingers. Thats pretty much it! GL!
