stepchild and choiceof agent/ fee

well first glich is I could not edit post...discupla!

For a moment I thought this board had disappeared and panicked!! Such an incredible resource for all of us

A question, although it is stupid, I just recieved the NVC communication related to choice of agent and NVc fee for three old stepson......none for his dad

( husband)....We have filed I-130... (with seperate but concurrent petitions as required). I will wait for husbands choice of agent form before panicking....but regardless, does he(stepson) need a choice of agent form completed and signed and does he require a seperate 70.00 fee from his father? I would assume,if so, that his dad would complete and sign....but am unclear. I also read that adopted children no require fee... but as stepchild he is not adopted...do I send a fee to continue to process his peticion?

having arrived this far, I do not want to make errors.....

I filed 4 separate petitions (wife & 3 kids), and there were times when one mail (from NVC) would be delayed by 2-3 days. It really makes one worry.

And if the mail loses something or its the NVC's fault they make you wait one month before they will resend you it. Even though they say wait 2-4 weeks!
