Hi everyone, Just wondering the progress of all May filers that have NOA2 and still waiting for Consulate response. It seem to be extremely long. My NOA2 was approved on 7/21/11 and it is now 9/29/11. I am surprised the wait is so long. From NVC to Consulate in Guangzhou. Since NOA2 approval have 4 months approval limit. What will happen if we do not receive response from consulate for Package 3 ?

I don't know about your country, but in Thailand, as long as you know that the embassy has the petition, you can download packet 3 from the website and send it in.

UPDATE! My case has reached BKK, sending in packet 3 today. If DHL website says it was processed in BKK, does that mean they will deliver it today (sat) or Monday?

Ray- did u ask Amy if she went to Alabang satellite (alabang market) to get her NBI clearance? Cause I'm pretty sure that was her I saw. She looked like she's about to give birth any minute. lol I wanted to approach her but I was in hurry to leave. I had to be at the office and catch my boss before 4 pm.

Also, I've noticed in some signatures, that the NVC received cases and sent it abroad. How were you able to obtain this info?

First call the NVC and ask when your case was sent out.

Press 1 for English

Press 5 for an operator

Then...

If you go to the DHL website, type in this format into the tracking reference: EXP 27 SEP 2011A < but put in the date that your case was sent out. Mine was sent out on Sept 27.

Then this way you can see it traveling! Which, mine was signed for at the embassy by TETPORN at 10:34AM today. Yay!

Also, Ice just sent packet 3 today too. Should get there on Monday. I hope they can put it together with our case ASAP.

The only letter we've received was that Amy was eligible for the interview. USEM doesn't assign interview dates. You pick your own date after you pay the visa fee either by scheduling it on the website (https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/) or by calling the embassy directly.

13 days til our interview, last thing gotta do is med exam this week. hope the dang typhoon's will stop rolling in one after another! makes me nervous for her to go all the way to manila with that mess there.

did you put the "A" at the end, like this: EXP 12 AUG 2011A ? i kept doing my date without the "A" at the end and it didnt work, thought it was a typo when i saw the thread telling how to track it. put that "A" in there and worked.

You need to go to Track Shipper's Reference and then type in EXP 12 AUG 2011A and select your destination country.
