Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Delivery Update:

Serena Marie was born via C-Section on 9-25-11. She came a couple of weeks early and will spend a few days in an incubator. Both momma and baby are doing well and resting. I can't wait for these next 2 weeks to go by to go see them and hopefully bring them home.

Congrats to you and the misses, and welcome to parenthood. Us new daddies gotta stick together. Safe travels to you. I know you cant wait to see your daughter. I remember the pain and loneliness of not being able to see my son and I was an hour away in Zavyalovo Russia just because Russian govt wont let me see my son. It was the worst. I had to do some covert operation to sneak in there but I got to see him on day two. Well its time for his bath. Take care and congrats once again.

ok i have a question..........what ever happend to tom who used to post so much on here and gave strength when we were impatient? i am wondering this for a long time already!

I sent him a PM a week or so ago but haven't heard anything back from him. My best guess is that he's with his beloved in the Philippines. I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere, sometime soon.

Thanks. I'm still waiting on pics but the family says it's hard to see her because she's in an incubator. They say they'll ask the nurse if they can take her out long enough to take a pic. Still no vital stats, either.

Yeah I had to make bird calls outside, break a few necks....crawl in a box, etc etc. LOL but yeah it was worth it to hold him. He is amazing her and the mother are home now and he is crying like crazy =) but im happy. Dont worry you will be there soon to hold your beautiful daughter. Just keep in touch with them to make sure all is well. Take care and keep us updated as well.

Yay congrats Niki and Ray!!!

Ray- did u ask Amy if she went to Alabang satellite (alabang market) to get her NBI clearance? Cause I'm pretty sure that was her I saw. She looked like she's about to give birth any minute, lol I wanted to approach het but I was in hurry to leave, I had to be at the office and catch my boss before 4 pm.

Sorry, with the events of this past weekend Amy hasn't been online much (as you might imagine). She's still at Philippine General Hospital, but will probably be going home any day now. Serena will probably be in the hospital for at least the rest of this week. Honestly, that question has been the furthest one from my mind. I'll try to remember to ask her the next time I get to talk to her. If it was her, she probably was about to give birth at any moment (as we now know). :rofl:

getting her med exam next week and interview on the 14th... i will be there for the interview, so hopefully that will help out. sucks its the day before i leave to come back to the states, but if the visa is issued that day or a few days later (which i know is slim chance of happening), then with any luck she'll be coming back with me! if not, then hopefully few weeks after the interview, we'll have the visa and i'll just have to meet her at the POE. now is crunch time though, sweating all the details of making sure got all the forms we need and they're all perfect. :wacko:

Hi everyone, Just wondering the progress of all May filers that have NOA2 and still waiting for Consulate response. It seem to be extremely long. My NOA2 was approved on 7/21/11 and it is now 9/29/11. I am surprised the wait is so long. From NVC to Consulate in Guangzhou. Since NOA2 approval have 4 months approval limit. What will happen if we do not receive response from consulate for Package 3 ?
