hello Mayers!

Question, please: How will i know if my petition has already left the USCIS and now on its way to NVC? Got the email (Sept. 13) that says my case has been approved (still waiting for hard copy) and been calling NVC (am i calling the wrong people?) for MNL Case Number but still no luck.

Any idea/s? please help. Thanks so much! yes.gif

Try calling next week. I just called and they have not recieved my petition yet...the lady said I should call by the end of next week...Goodluck!

So according to fedex my RFE was received by VSC This afternoon. Let's see how long it takes them to acknowledge the RFE and start working on it.

Wedding Date: 12/27/11

RFE: 5/14/12
Biometrics App.: 5/21/12
Sent RFE Response: 5/31/12
Interview: 7/24/12
Approval: 10/12/12

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

i've heard from nvc and got our case number... they got it august 30 and sent it out august 31... did the dhl tracker thing and saw a package went out august 31 and arrived in manila on september 7... so maybe some of ours made it there? i called the embassy, but of course i got nowhere with that, just told to keep waiting. :unsure:

Congratulations... can u please share ur timeline for RFE. They received my RFE on 09/15. Just wondering when I should expect the approval. Thank u in advance.

thank you after we sent them last week of august, it took 5 days for them to review the rfe. and another and exactly 7 working days to approved.they reviewed it last sept 7 and got approved september 15.i pray that you will approve soon too, and all may filers that still waiting, may God bless all of us.

Thank you for the information. I'm hoping to be approved by end of this month. They still.have not even acknowledged receiving my RFE. Website still shows the message from September 2, which is when they mailed me the notice for RFE. guess its back to waiting again. Good luck to everyone that are still.waiting.

good.. just waiting to hear from the embassy. packet should have been to her by now, hopefully this week. i called the embassy 2 times now and didnt really get anywhere, guess they cant say or dont know the status of the case. we decided not to wait anyway though, gonna pay the visa fee and try to setup the appointment and med exam. and hoping she can have her interview while im there in October, but not sure that will happen.

hope everyone else is having good things going on!
